I have known Kevan since we first entered into St. Mary’s College in 1991. It was in the last two years of high school that we became very good friends. It has reached the point where I feel as though I knew Kevan all my life. We have grown very close over the years to the point where I consider Kevan a part of my family, a long lost brother. In my eyes I could not have asked for a better friend. Kevan is the type of person who will do anything for you and who always seem to give the best advice anyone could ask for. He is a very dedicated and devout Christian and his virtues and morals surpass many who have walked this earth. When you are with Kevan you can feel the presence of God walking with him. Kevan has this knack of always managing to look at situations in the most positive way. He is a very intelligent individual and always puts his best efforts forward in any task he undertakes. I am truly blessed to have found a friend like Kevan and I thank God for giving me the opportunity to experience the “True Friend” I found in Kevan. I know that Kevan has a very bright future ahead of him and I wish him all the happiness in the world.

Seldom in life does one come across a genuine character such as Kevan. I have been one of the lucky ones since I have had the privilege of knowing Kevan for about as long as I have known myself. His mother and mine have been truly great friends for some time and through that friendship their children have also grow to be great friends. He has proven himself as kind, thoughtful, and intelligent. His insight and advice has meant a lot to me throughout the years, as I’m sure it has too many others. I could still remember all the good times we had hanging out in Kelly Village when we were kids and more recently when he has had the opportunity to pass through Virginia. If I recall correctly I think we even hit Tobago a couple of times. Memories like that often prove to last a lifetime.
I have watched in amazement at the tasks and accomplishments that Kevan has undertaken and achieved, and to that I say congratulations. Truly an inspiration to all whose lives he graces, good things are sure to head his way. I wish all the success and happiness of this world to Kevan and Jolawn as they enter into the sacrament of marriage. It is a blessed step, one that is made truly worthwhile when two people find love and support in each other.
